Mr. Semu Thomas , LL.B (Hons.), LL.M, Ph.D-Cand. (Dar) is an Advocate of the High Court for 11 years. His areas of specialization include Tax Laws, Insurance Law, Arbitration, Banking Law, Corporate Law, Contract Law, Probate and Administration of Estates and Constitutional Law,
Mr. Semu joined the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of the University of Dar es Salaam in 2004 as an Assistant Lecturer. He also teaches on part time basis in various higher learning institutions like the Institute of Tax Administration; University of Dodoma; and Ruaha University College, Iringa and Ardhi University. He also serves as an external examiner in Tumaini University, Iringa – University College and Mzumbe University. Between 2001 and 2002 Mr. Semu Thomas was also served as a part time instructor at the Institute of Judicial Administration, Lushoto.
