Mr. Makarious J. Tairo, LL.B (Hons) UDSM, LL.M. (Commercial Law – Cambridge), Ph.D Cand. (UDSM) is an Advocate for more than ten years specialising in Banking Law, Commercial Laws, Corporate Law, legal drafting, Tax Law, Conveyancing, Contract Law, Finance and Securities, Probate and Administration of Estates, Laws on Payments, Property Law, Insurance Law and offering Consultancy Services. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D Program on labour laws.
Mr. Tairo joined the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law, University of Dar es Salaam [rebranded as University of Dar es Salaam School of Law] in 2003. He also worked on part time basis with the University College of Lands and Architectural Studies (UCLAS) (2003 – 2007), College of Engineering and Technology (2003- 2005), African Virtual University (AVU) University of DSM Centre (2004 – 2006), Institute of Tax Administration, (2007 – 2009). Since 2009 he has been working, on part basis, with the Law School of Tanzania as a lecturer in Practical Aspects of Commercial law.
